Sales Manager Switzerland
The Sales Manager will lead the launch and growth of our operations in a new market.
This pivotal role is instrumental in driving sales performance, building strong dealer and partner networks, and ensuring a successful market entry. As part of our ambitious expansion, you'll work closely with regional and global leadership to align local efforts with our company’s vision. This role requires a can-do and hands-on mentality to build operations from the ground up.
What You'll do
- Sales Strategy & Market Entry
- Design and implement localized sales strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and tailor the go-to-market approach.
- Design and lead the roll-out of sales initiatives across all sales channels.
- Sales Management
- Build, implement, and support tactics for sales to B2B and B2C customers.
- Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning with partners to ensure alignment and performance.
- Organize market visits, dealer meetings, training programs, and promotional activities.
- Performance Management
- Lead the implementation and success of Lynk & Co with our finance and services partners.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for all sales channels.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with dealers and partners to assess growth, challenges, and improvement areas.
- Ensure local targets across all relevant channels (retail, leasing, B2B) are met or exceeded.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders including B2B teams at retailers, leasing operations and financial services.
- Steer the performance of corporate and government accounts, leasing firms, and rental companies in your market.
- Customer Experience
- Champion the customer journey by maintaining high standards of service across all touchpoints.
- Support implementation of CRM systems and ensure data-driven customer engagement strategies.
- Operational & Financial Oversight
- Contribute to national sales budget planning and control.
- Monitor sales expenses and resource allocation for efficiency and impact.
- Identify and leverage local incentives such as ECO bonuses and government programs.
What You should have
- University degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or mobility sales, with exposure to multi-channel environments
- Proven success in launching or scaling sales operations in new or emerging markets
- Fluent in English, German and French.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- A hands-on mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Strong strategic thinking and market insight to drive local performance
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong partnerships
- A customer-centric approach, ensuring high standards of service across all channels
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments
