Below you find the requirements to start working with Lynk & Co when you arrive.

3. MAKE APPOINTMENTS with the Swedish tax office (Skatteverket), Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Forsekringskassan), and a Swedish Bank.(see more info in other columns).

The BankID is your digital access to almost everything. From government, insurance, and banks to e-commerce websites. With your BankID you can log in easily and safely.

Due to previous experiences, our recommendation is either Nordea or SEB.
Health and safety
Health Insurance
In Sweden, everyone is insured via the state health insurance (försäkringskassan) giving you coverage for most medical costs. But as it is publicly funded, it is also underfunded leading to longer waiting times etc.
As new employee you get a for 3 months a complimentary health insurance with Skandia. This private health insurance helps you to skip some cues and gives some additional covers.
You will get information from Skandia on what you need to do if you want to continue after the 3 months.

The tax year in Sweden is the same as the calendar year - from January 1 to December 31. The tax authority sends out income tax return forms every April and these must be submitted in May.
Lynk & Co does not support in this, but we can redirect you to an independent tax advisor. You have to pay the costs for the advisor yourself.

During your employment
Remote working
For most jobs, it is possible to work from home occasionally. You need to align this with your manager.
The same goes for working remote. This is possible for most, but with some limitations. There are tax and insurance risks. We have therfore a policy stating what is and is not allowed. Please make yourself aware of this policy, before you plan any remote working. If you want more information on this, please check with your manager.
