OBL Transport Market Specialist

The Vehicle Logistics team owns the distribution segments from port of discharge in Europe to delivery at our Micro Car Compounds in 7 European markets including customs activities and Pre-Delivery Inspection activities. We are now looking into expand our current footprint where we are going to set up a new entry point for our cars into south Europe. Like our set up with our Vehicle Processing Centre located at our Regional Car Compound in Belgium.

We are a lean team with high focus on supplier performance in order to fulfil our purpose of supporting our stakeholder's targets and objectives. The Lynk & Co business model requires transformation of traditional car preparation and distribution, and this team is at the forefront of that challenge.
 

What you'll do

• Follow up the incoming, processed, outgoing and returning vehicle flows, and parts for PDI
• Develop and manage flows of vehicles out of the yard
• Manage suppliers through developing KPIs and driving performance using quality and lead time analysis
• Securing a constant and stable pipeline flow throughout dedicated markets in Europe
• Maintain correct stock levels at Local Car Compounds focusing on reducing ageing stock
• Manage Local Car Compound stock maintenance
• Managing stakeholder communication for on time deliveries to customers focusing on end-to-end order to delivery
  

What you should have

• Passion for logistics
• Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
• Experience in TMS applications and requirement settings is a merit
• Yard and PDI, PDS, PPO operation is a merit
• Good knowledge in Microsoft applications – Power BI, Excel etc
• Ability to use and give feedback to facilitate open dialogue and successfully manage difficult conversations
• Experience in multi-modal finished vehicle transportation operations
• Excellent communication skills – Fluent in English – both orally and written
