BI Front-end Developer

Lynk & Co Business Technology team is seeking a self-going and curious BI front-end developer with deep knowledge in the great world of Power BI to be part of our Data Analytics development Gang. 

The Business Technology team is supporting Lynk & Co business team to support their needs in all digital aspects and areas. You will be part of a great team with ambitions to challenge our business teams, fulfil their needs with cool digital tools and work together with our IT-suppliers to implement cloud-based solutions based on the latest technologies. 

You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, continuously changing and collaborative environment. 

The position is based in Gothenburg, Lynk & Co HQ at Lindholmen.  

What you'll do

Your main responsibility will be to transform business information into actionable reports and visualizationsFurthermore, you will continue the front-end development of our recently established Data Analytics Platform, implemented with Azure Analytics core components and Power BI for visualizing dashboards, reports and KPI’s to our business users. 

  • Be part of creating a data-driven organization that takes use of the opportunities within analytics technologies  
  • Apply Power BI to model, develop, publish, support and improve business critical reports and visualizations. 
  • Further develop, maintain and improve the Power BI platform. 
  • Support the Product Owner Analytics with collecting, prioritizing and realizing data analytics business requirements. 
  • Be part of our data analytics “gang and actively contribute to the fulfillment of agreed business objectives and sprint goals. 
  • Act as the technical owner of the Power BI application and continuously work with a maintenance-efficient mind-set. 

What you should have

  • Experience from agile Analytics / Power BI development projects  
  • An ambition to be an advisor who inspires the business users what to achieve from Power BI reporting especially and data analytics in general 
  • Development skills to implement technical solutions for efficient maintenance and support
  • Knowledge about data warehouse, SQL, BI front-end development and statistics
  • Knowledge in Azure Analytics components and BI back-end development
  • Willingness to give technical support and training hands-on for our business users
  • An eye for design and creative visualizations 

Apart from the above you are a driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities. We are a rapidly growing company – we hire people who find the way to what needs to be done and happily roll up their sleeves where/when needed. You are Tech-Savvy with good understanding of modern digital technologies and platforms.
